David Sera
David Sera is Australia’s leading kart racer of all time, winning an unprecedented 18 Australian championships, 56 State championships, along with a 2nd place finish at the Rotax World Finals in 2011 & the SKUSA SuperNats on multiple occasions. Sera has also enjoyed success in Europe, USA, Japan & New Zealand.
Having amassed an extensive amount of knowledge over his 25 years in the sport, Sera is now turning his focus to helping the next generation of stars. Sera’s mission: To get the most out of each driver and provide tuition to continually improve. The core of the KartClass programs is the ability to fine-tune each driver’s skill set. Being a successful driver himself, David has the ability to give the finest details in his coaching. From corner entry to throttle and brake modulation and overtaking, to how to get the best jump off the start of a race and avoid on-track incidents, David can provide the necessary tools to get drivers to the front of the pack.
There are few who offer this type of detailed coaching, and even fewer that have the ability to verbalise their expectations to their protégés.
Greg McColl
McColl is an international Personal & Mental Skills Development Coach and Motorsport Mind Coach. Working with drivers, riders, athletes, and personnel in the world of sport in Formula 1, Formula 3, BTCC – British Touring Cars, British Superbikes, WSBK – World Supersport, AMA Arenacross, Karting – WSK / CIK, FIA European Rally, Porsche Supercup & European LeMans.
He helps drivers and riders develop their racing and motorsport psychology, improving resilience, focus, and mental skills. McColl also works with high-performance/high-stress individuals, entrepreneurs, and business mindset coaching. As a motorsport Mind Coach, McColl teaches psychological tools, techniques, and methods to manage stress, focus, performance, motivation, resilience, and communication. He works with those just starting their racing all the way to champions.
Danny Formal
Danny Formal, born in Costa Rica in 1995, has raced karts worldwide for 20 years. In that span, Formal has been one of North America’s most accomplished drivers over the past decade, winning three SKUSA SuperNats in the premier shifter categories (KZ2 & Stock Honda) beating current and former Formula One drivers in the process. Formal’s talent didn’t go unnoticed in Europe, where he became a factory driver for the CRG brand and helped with the testing & development of their chassis.
A major championship winner in Junior Rotax, Senior Rotax, Stock Honda & KZ, Formal is the king of street circuits when aggression and limited track time are available to drivers. His ability to adapt to new circuits is second to none. In recent years, Formal has stepped into car racing, winning races in TA2, LMP3, and most recently signing with Wayne Taylor Racing in the IMSA championship, already recording wins aboard the Lamborghini.
