THE 3 INVISIBLE HALF TRUTHS KEEPING A CAP ON YOUR RACING POTENTIAL
HALF-TRUTH #1
A fast engine will win me races
As much as a good engine helps on-track performance, the theory behind bolting on some power will all of a sudden allow you to get a good race start, pass at the right opportunity, not spin out when it rains and defend the final corner of the last lap.
Yes, the first part of Motorsport has Motor in it, but the excessive money families think they need to spend, to buy additional horsepower can all be undone if the driver is making fundamental mistakes.
You need focus on what you can control: yourself. By improving all aspects of a driver’s ability, this minimises your need to rely on good equipment to yield strong results on track.
HALF-TRUTH #2
I need to race with a team to win
It’s true that being apart of a team can speed up the testing process, by allowing more drivers to try different sprockets, different axles, and setups to find the ultimate package. But racing with a team comes at an additional expense, and in some cases, this isn’t accessible for families.
By doing your own homework, own testing program and having competitive equipment, we see time and time again privateers taking out race wins in major competitions. How is this possible against big teams with endless resources? Privateers are more likely to push themselves to find the last tenth, rather than thinking a team can offer some magical touch and being complacent.
You need a strong and positive mindset, the race craft to keep your opposition at bay even when you don’t have the fastest kart, and the ability to adapt in all conditions. This is where the privateer can remain competitive regardless of the situation and save themselves thousands along the way!
You need to include high-level support in the most important parts of your racing – communicating with coaches who have won races around the world, giving you the best chance of success.
HALF-TRUTH #3
If I drive what the leading driver is, I’ll win
How many times do we see drivers chop and change to multiple brands, but still remain in the same position? They think that by copying the chassis of the driver winning, this then entitles them to win the next time out in their fancy new chassis. Heard this before?
Well in some instances, yes, your kart might not be competitive, so a new flash kart might be the answer, but often, it’s the spacer between the steering wheel and the rear bumper that dictates the final finishing position.
So, after purchasing three brands of kart, four different engine builders, endless amounts of new tyres, whilst still stuck in the mid pack, drivers can either give up, or they can look at what they can do to improve themselves.
How often do we see drivers admit that maybe their lack of performance is down to their driving? Not often!
It’s easier to look elsewhere and blame the equipment.
But, when you apply the best strategies and techniques for YOUR racing, test and tweak them to suit your driving style, you’ll quickly find what’s working and what isnt…
All with expert guidance, support, and wisdom, you have the tools to succeed in Motorsport.
And at this stage of your racing career, identifying your problem IS the problem… it’s hard to break bad habits if you don’t know they’re bad.
You need to lean on coaches, and fellow members who can uncover your oversights and show you how to make giants strides on track.

IS CHAMPIONS CLUB FOR ME?
Champions Club is not for you if:
Not for you if… You feel like you already have all the answers
You can only coach drivers if they’re willing to try something new and want to learn. If you’re not coachable or open to suggestions, Champions Club will be a pointless investment.
Not for you if… You’re not an action-taker, you want results to just… Happen.
Strategies, mindset shifts, and techniques are powerful for your racing career IF you’re the kind of person who puts them to work. Not sure if you’re ready to act and try something new? Then the Champions program isn’t for you.
Not for you if… You expect to win instantly
It’s our hope that from day one you start to learn with us on this journey but remember success doesn’t always happen overnight. These techniques have been developed, honed, and perfected over 25 years of driving, with plenty of mistakes along the way. It will take you time and practice to integrate your new skills and convert them into on track success.
If you’re a driver that tries something once and when it doesn’t work, moves onto the next shiny object rather than finding a solution, then this program might not be for you.
Champions Club is for you if:
You want to take responsibility for your own success.
You’re not afraid to take action and do what it takes, knowing that you have the tools at your disposal and a solid game plan to follow.
You accept your driving can be improved.
Whether that be race craft, race starts, being smoother, or fast in wet conditions, the willingness to want to learn is the first step to unlocking your full potential.
You don’t yet have a coach.
You’re learning by yourself but can’t identify the areas that others have an advantage on you. By bouncing ideas from our coaches, you can trust the knowledge you’re receiving is in the best interests of you.
You don’t listen to your parents.
What would they know right? But in all seriousness, our coaches are here to mentor you from a different perspective than what you hear countless times per day from a family member.
So...
If you’re a racer who wants to reach the podium faster (and remain there) … you need to be a part of our Champions Club.
If you’re tired of listening to every “Tom, Dick & Harry” at your local kart track, who promised more than they delivered… you need to be a part of our Champions Club.
If you’ve been stuck in a plateau for months on end with no concrete plan or ideas to change anytime soon… you need to be a part of our Champions Club.
If you’re second-guessing yourself and your ability to become a karting champion… you need to be a part of our Champions Club.
And…
If you want the opportunity to learn from the world’s best karting coaches & give yourself a greater chance of success… you need to be a part of our Champions Club.
