Main straight entering Turn 1: As we approach Turn 1 at Ipswich Kart Club drivers want to utilise the whole track width on the right-hand side to carry as much speed as possible. It's not mandatory, but some karts will place their right hand side tyres on the entry kerb on the right hand side to make the turn wider. This isn’t a kerb I’d recommend using, as it’s quite steep and the speed being driven on this corner will unsettle the kart.
