We’ve all heard from our parents or mechanics “stop turning your head”!
There are both positives and negatives with looking behind, so below we will try cover them.
We’ll start with the negatives. Firstly when driving at speeds in excess of 90-110km/h you want to focus your attention on where you are driving; apex, braking markers, throttle markers, overtaking opportunities. So when a driver starts to turn their head to look where the competition is, they lose focus on those points.
