One of the most important aspects in KZ & shifter kart racing is the start of the race.
With shifter karts utilising front brakes, narrow entry to the corners and karts being fitted with drop down bumpers, overtaking can be hard to come by in shifter racing. Therefore, we put such a strong emphasis on race starts and getting a better launch than you competition as this is the quickest place to make up positions.
