Tyres

The harder the compound of tyre, the less grip the tyre provides. Drivers are more inclined to experience the kart sliding, understeering and the lack of traction in the braking zones. Knowing that we are driving a heavy kart with tyres that have limited grip, drivers may need to find themselves turning the wheel with a lot of steering lock to make some apexes. If you turn the steering a lot, and hit the brakes aggressively, the rear of the kart will slide out. One way you can fix this is by slowly releasing the brakes and the kart should regain some control, although you may now be entering the corner with too much speed.
