As we start a lap at PKRA in the anti-clockwise direction, drivers want to concentrate on where the kart is on the exit of turn one, as this is important for the next sequence of corners. Cadet & KA can approach this turn full throttle, but don't want to exit the corner any wider than the middle of the racetrack. By flowing out too wide in this part of the circuit, this then doesn't allow us enough time to enter turn two on the outside of the track.
